Most people have goals. I have goals. I am beyond excited as this participial item has been one of my goals for a long time. If I had a bucket list, this would be on it. What is this? It’s a 10K race, which is 6.21 miles, that will take place July 2nd, 2015. The bonus, is my fifteen year old son will be running it with me. My dad is thinking about running it, and our family will be there to cheer us on. Yeah, Go Us! Training has begun and I have already started to feel stronger, faster, and have more endurance. I have tried to seek out a personal trainer and found one, but due to expense, I’m going to try to do strength training on my own. Here goes nothing. I will not be the fastest, but I’m going to try to do the best I can and for me. That means being prepared and working hard to reach that goal. My goal would be to run it in forty five mins, but due to elevation and 100 degree weather, I’m not sure how likely that will be for me, but we’ll see. At this point I can run it in sixty minutes flat, inside, on a treadmill. Outside I have heard, is another story, but I’m not about to go outside now as it is freezing. Yuck, I hate the cold! It’s such an amazing freedom to be able to set out and meet a goal. I feel so blessed to be given this opportunity. I’m going to rise to the occasion and getter done. Simply Amazing! I Got This!

Since we are going to be in the city maybe on July 3rd we will go to the State Zoo, to the amusement park, a water park, or just have a fun family filled day. Praise GOD for those! Who knows, the skies the limit, and possibly my cousin and her family could come up and go too, hint, hint. Love ya, girl! Fun Times!

As an awesome reward, after the race, on July 4th our family will have the privilege for the first time ever, to attend a professional soccer game, with something like box seats including food and such, with a huge fireworks display at the end. We are super ecstatic! Thank you, Dad! Love you so much! Sports, Food, Friends and Family, who could ask for a better time? I’m not huge into soccer, so I’m going for the food. Just kidding, I’m going for the people! It’s set to be an incredibly amazing time!

What an unbelievably epic way to start out our July, and as July continues, time with the in-laws, including a multi-person (Yes, I’m one of those!) birthday celebration filled day. Super Fun! Not looking forward to adding on another year, but the super awesome celebration packed day will be epic. GOD gives us so many things to look forward to and be able to be apart of. I am so overjoyed and so thankful to be given these opportunities. PRAISE GOD, for friends, family, and the joys of life!
